Frequently Asked Questions
What are the lead times for samples and mass production?
Delivery time depends primarily on the product type and the level of customization:
● Existing models: to be confirmed based on inventory and production plans.
● Parameter adjustment: Confirmed based on the special materials and sample production schedule.
● Customized structures require additional time for design, manufacturing, and verification.
● New mold making: requires design, mold making, trial molding, sampling and testing.
● Mass production: determined based on order quantity, material lead time, and production schedule.
Once the technical solution is confirmed, Shunli Motor will provide corresponding samples, trial production, and mass production delivery plans.
To which countries and regions can Shunli Motors be exported?
Shunli Motors provides miniature geared motors and customized drive systems to customers in Europe, North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions.
Before formal cooperation, we will confirm product information and delivery plans based on the client's country, product use, compliance requirements, trade methods, and transportation conditions.
Can a freight forwarder designated by the customer be used?
Yes. Customers can designate a freight forwarder or logistics service provider within China, and Shunli Motor will deliver the goods to the designated warehouse according to the order agreement.
For samples, international express delivery can also be arranged according to customer requirements. Specific shipping methods, freight, insurance, and import duties will be confirmed by both parties before shipment.
What documents can be provided upon shipment?
Depending on the order, destination, and customer requirements, the following can be provided:
● commercial invoice
● Packing list
● Product Specifications
● Outgoing inspection documents
● Product and packaging labels
● RoHS, REACH and other related compliance documents
● Test or quality documents agreed upon by both parties
What precautions should be taken when installing a miniature geared motor?
During installation, ensure good coaxiality between the output shaft and the load structure, and avoid forced installation, lateral force, or axial impact. It is also necessary to confirm that the operating voltage, wiring method, rotation direction, load, and running time conform to the product specifications.
If the micro motor is connected to a lead screw, gear, coupling or other transmission components, it is recommended to confirm the fit tolerances and installation method during the design phase to avoid noise, vibration, increased current or shortened lifespan due to installation deviations.
How should one troubleshoot a micro geared motor that is overheating, making increased noise, or has insufficient torque?
It is recommended to stop the program from running for an extended period and check the following items:
● Does the power supply voltage meet the requirements?
● Does the actual load exceed the design range?
● Is the output shaft or transmission structure stuck?
● Is the installation misaligned or subjected to lateral forces?
● Is the motor stalled for an extended period of time?
● Does the working time and start/stop frequency exceed the set conditions?
● Is the ambient temperature too high?
● Has the gearbox been subjected to an impact or exhibited abnormal wear?
Customers can provide Shunli Motor with product models, order batches, operating videos, test data, and abnormal samples for further analysis by technical or quality personnel.
How does Shunli Motor handle product quality issues?
Upon receiving quality feedback, Shunli Motor will first confirm the product model, production batch, fault symptoms, usage conditions, and quantity of abnormalities, and analyze the defective samples as needed.
The processing flow typically includes:
1. Identify the problem and its scope of impact;
2. Trace relevant materials, production, and testing records;
3. Analyze the reasons related to design, materials, processing, assembly, or use;
4. Develop temporary handling and corrective measures;
5. Verify the effectiveness of the improvements and provide feedback to customers.
For major or batch anomalies, corresponding problem analysis and improvement reports can be provided according to project requirements.
